The rest of the engine was sprayed in situ by an outside contractor. The whole engine was then lined and Sign written in 24ct Gold Leaf to (as close as we are able) her Original Openshaw livery and Varnished.

So Far, to date, I have worked on over 20 Engines. Carrying out works that range from simple lining to full, from the ground up, repaints.

I like to spend a lot of time researching the correct liveries and style to suit the engines so that they can accurately portray how they would have looked back in their working days.

This is just a small selection of the Finished results of the Engines worked on. If you would like to see more of the process then please check out my Facebook page where you will find Albums of all the engines and other vehicles I have worked on and can see the Painting process.
